SONIA SOTOMAYOR NOMINATED FOR SUPREME COURT
President Obama has nominated Sonia Sotomayor to replace the retiring David Souter. Sotomayor's appointment to the United States Supreme Court appears imminent as several key Republican Senators have stated they will not attempt to block the nomination.

I don't think she's a good candidate with her well-known biases. However, any senators (especially Republican) who try to block her, will look like racist hate mongers. It's too bad the game of politics plays out this way.
